CCM to hold the second session of its cinema support commission on 10 November

The Moroccan Cinematographic Centre (CCM) has announced that the second 2026 session of its Commission for support to the digitisation, modernisation and creation of cinemas will be held on Tuesday 10 November 2026 at 11 a.m., at the Centre’s headquarters.

During this session, the Commission will examine applications for support. The CCM had set Friday 23 October 2026 as the deadline for submitting these applications to the Commission’s Secretariat at its headquarters, which means that applications for this session are now closed.

This session follows the first of the year, at which the Commission granted 12.875 million dirhams to projects for creating new cinemas and for digitising and renovating existing ones in Casablanca, Tangier and Rabat. The details are in our article: New cinemas: what Morocco is funding in 2026.
